Penelitian ini membahas perkembangan sistem bilangan dalam peradaban Tiongkok kuno serta sejarah dinasti-dinasti yang berperan dalam perkembangan matematika dan sistem numerik di Tiongkok. Salah satu sistem bilangan yang digunakan adalah bilangan batang (Suzhou), yang memiliki peran penting dalam pencatatan angka sebelum diperkenalkannya sistem numerik Hindu-Arab. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengulas bagaimana setiap dinasti Tiongkok memberikan kontribusi terhadap perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, serta sistem pemerintahan yang memengaruhi dunia hingga saat ini.
