Hubungan Fungsi Kognitif dengan Tingkat Ketergantungan Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Activity Daily Living (ADL) pada Pasien Stroke

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Penyakit stroke disebabkan oleh aliran darah yang berkurang menuju ke otak. Kerusakan otak akibat stroke dapat meningkatkan risiko penurunan fungsi kognitif sehingga pasien stroke menjadi ketergantungan terhadap orang lain dalam melakukan ADL. Tujuan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan fungsi kognitif dengan tingkat ketergantungan pemenuhan kebutuhan ADL pada pasien stroke. Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah pasien stroke di ruang rawat inap RSUD Arifin Achmad sebanyak 53 responden diambil dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) dan Barthel Index. Analisa bivariat menggunakan uji Spearman rho. Hasil:  Hasil penelitian didapatkan dari 53 responden menunjukkan mayoritas responden berada pada kategori lansia akhir 56-65 tahun 22 responden (41,5%) berjenis kelamin laki-laki 28 responden (52,8%) dengan tingkat pendidikan SD 20 responden (37,7%) yang mengalami gangguan fungsi kognitif berat 35 responden (66,0%) dan keterbatasan aktivitas ADL berat 27 responden (50,9%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan ada hubungan fungsi kognitif dengan tingkat ketergantungan pemenuhan kebutuhan ADL pada pasien stroke didapatkan nilai p-value (0,000) < α = (0,05). Kesimpulan: Fungsi kognitif mempunyai hubungan yang bermakna terhadap tingkat ketergantungan pemenuhan kebutuhan ADL pada pasien stroke.
