Peran Konseling Perkembangan Dalam Penguatan Regulasi Diri Individu Populasi Khusus

Pengaturan diri merupakan landasan mendasar bagi seseorang untuk dapat mengelola perilaku, emosi, dan proses kognitifnya secara mandiri. Namun, bagi individu yang termasuk dalam kelompok khusus seperti siswa berkebutuhan khusus, remaja dengan gangguan pendengaran, penyandang disabilitas intelektual, dan kelompok rentan lainnya kemampuan pengaturan diri ini seringkali tidak berkembang secara optimal akibat dukungan lingkungan yang terbatas atau kurangnya intervensi khusus. Konseling perkembangan muncul sebagai respons terhadap kebutuhan ini, menawarkan pendekatan yang berfokus pada peningkatan potensi daripada sekadar mengatasi masalah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara kritis peran konseling perkembangan dalam memperkuat pengaturan diri di antara individu dari populasi khusus, dengan mendasarkan argumennya pada tinjauan pustaka dari studi empiris yang relevan. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur sistematis terhadap lima belas artikel ilmiah internasional dan nasional yang mencakup berbagai pendekatan konseling, mulai dari konseling kognitif-perilaku, konseling realistis, konseling kelompok berdasarkan kesadaran penuh dan pembelajaran sosial emosional, hingga program intervensi ketahanan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling perkembangan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pengaturan diri, pengaturan emosi, keyakinan diri, dan penetapan tujuan pada kelompok populasi tertentu. Implikasi praktis bagi konselor, pendidik, dan peneliti disajikan dalam bentuk rekomendasi spesifik.
