Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi perilaku prokrastinasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Sosiologi di Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa yang cenderung menunda-nunda tetapi tetap berhasil mencapai prestasi akademik tinggi. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini berfokus pada strategi-strategi yang digunakan mahasiswa untuk mengatasi dampak negatif dari prokrastinasi terhadap prestasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menggunakan beberapa strategi, seperti SKS (Sistem Kebut Semalam), metode SMART (Spesifik, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) untuk mengatur tujuan belajar, dan keaktifan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Selain itu, dukungan pasangan (relationship) berperan penting dalam memotivasi mereka, serta program Kampus Merdeka yang memberikan kemudahan melalui konversi mata kuliah. Strategi-strategi ini membantu mahasiswa mengoptimalkan waktu dan sumber daya sehingga mereka mampu mempertahankan indeks prestasi yang tinggi meskipun sering melakukan prokrastinasi.
