Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana PDRB dan Jumlah penduduk berpengaruh terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia di provinsi Riau tahun 2010-2022. Komponen variabel bebas X1 adalah PDRB, dan variabel X2 adalah jumlah penduduk. untuk variabel terikat (Y) adalah indeks pembangunan manusia (IPM). Populasi dan sampel penelitian didasarkan pada data BPS terkait PDRB dan jumlah siswa di Provinsi Riau tahun 2010 hingga 2022 yang diperoleh dari situs resmi www.bps.go.id. Metode yang digunakan disebut metode analisis linear berganda dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang dikumpulkan dan diolah dengan menggunakan software Eviews 12 beserta beberapa jurnal dan skripsi sebagai referensi. Hasil penelitian ini secara simultan menunjukan PDRB dan Jumlah Penduduk mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan terhadap variabel IPM
