Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai perjuangan yang terkandung dalam kisah Tengku Buwang Asmara dan relevansinya dalam pembentukan karakter siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah di SMA Negeri 1 Mempura. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai perjuangan yang tercermin dari kisah Tengku Buwang Asmara, seperti ketabahan, semangat pantang menyerah, dan pengorbanan, memiliki relevansi yang signifikan dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya penerapan cerita-cerita inspiratif dalam pembelajaran sejarah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang nilai-nilai kemanusiaan dan pembentukan karakter yang kuat.
