Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah tentang pengaruh penggunaan media sosial terhadap kecerdasan sosial remaja di Kampung Maredan Barat Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa tinggi pengaruh penggunaan media sosial terhadap kecerdasan sosial remaja di Kampung Maredan Barat Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak. Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah remaja usia 17-19 tahun di kampung maredan barat yang berjumlah 343 orang dengan sampel penelitian 185 orang, lalu digunakan tools Microsoft Excel dan SPSS versi 23 untuk menyelesaikan proses penelitian serta penggunaan metode teknik analisis data statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil uji statistik di ketahui adanya pengaruh penggunaan media sosial terhadap kecerdasan sosial remaja di Kampung Maredan Barat Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak sebesar 28,01.
