Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the distribution of international network class 1 narcotics in Batam City, Batam District Court decision 725/pidsus/2022/PNbatam. The research method used is normative juridical with a statutory approach. The research results show that legal regulations regarding the eradication of criminal acts of narcotics abuse are regulated in Articles 116, 121, 127. Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. Then in the new Law, namely Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. Efforts to overcome and eradicate narcotics crimes carried out by law enforcers can be seen from the performance of the Barelang Police in collaboration with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Riau Islands Province which actively, both openly and privately, collaborates with other agencies and the community in breaking the chain. narcotics distribution in the Riau Islands
